The iSpark International Pitching Competition (IIPC) 2024 

Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT) successfully hosted the iSpark International Pitching Competition (IIPC) 2024, which took place from 1 June to 20 September 2024, with the grand finale on 20 September 2024.

The iSpark International Pitching Competition (IIPC) 2024 brought together teams with innovative ideas from universities both locally and abroad, providing a platform for them to pitch their groundbreaking solutions to industry leaders and experts.

The competition achieved its core objectives by:

• Promoting cross-cultural exchange, with students, academics, and professionals from diverse backgrounds connecting to share ideas and experiences.

• Showcasing creative and technological solutions to address global challenges.

• Enhancing participants' entrepreneurial skills through learning and sharing different pitching techniques, business planning, and market understanding.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the winners and gratitude to all the participating universities and teams who made this event such a success. Your innovative ideas and dedication truly shone throughout the competition!

• Champion  🏅: RM 5000

• Second Place 🥈: RM 3000

• Third Place 🥉: RM 2000

• 7 Consolation Awards: RM 500 each

In addition to the cash prizes, all participants were recognized with Outstanding Awards in the following categories:

• Outstanding Science and Technology Innovation

• Outstanding Business and Societal Innovation

• Outstanding Media and Design Innovation

Each team, including the winners and consolation awardees, received a medal and a certificate for their contributions.
